Winged to Win: Ahaan Shukla Brings Laurels to Jaipuria

Lucknow: Seth M.R. Jaipuria School, Goel Campus has once again made the institution and the state proud, as one of its students has truly soared high. Ahaan Shukla of Class 7D secured the First Prize in the Sparrow Day Quiz organized by the Uttar Pradesh Government on the occasion of World Sparrow Day, observed annually on March 20. His achievement is indeed a feather in the cap for the school.

World Sparrow Day aims to raise awareness about the declining population of house sparrows and promote their conservation. With themes like “Creating Bird-Friendly Cities & Communities” (2026), the initiative encourages students to leave no stone unturned in protecting nature by installing bird feeders and nest boxes. The Uttar Pradesh Government has been at the forefront of such initiatives through school-level programs, quizzes, and the establishment of “Gauraiya Kunj” in urban areas.

On this proud occasion,  Mahesh Agarwal, Chairman of Goel Group of Institutions, congratulated Ahaan, stating that he has brought laurels to the institution and set a benchmark of excellence through his awareness and dedication towards environmental conservation.

The Principal, Dr. Rina Pathak, also expressed her pride and remarked that Ahaan has stood head and shoulders above the rest. She added that his success is a proud moment for all and that he is truly an inspiration to his peers.
This remarkable achievement highlights the school’s commitment to nurturing responsible and environmentally conscious citizens who continue to shine brightly in every field.
